THE END OF THE EXPERIMENT

There was controversy in Ocean Hill-Brownsville when they tried to move 19 teachers and administers because they wanted to make a distinct ethnic identity. The goal of the experimental school district was to try and develop a distinct ethnic identity among students. The teachers union was not supportive they wanted to protect their teachers from being discriminated against. The escalation started with the districtic trying to make a ethenic identity among the school and then it reached the climax when it tried to move white teachers.

WHY WE ARE NOT RACISTS

My document is part of a book that was written by Seale, about misconceptions about the BPP. He believed that the BPP had a goal to force people to see that there was racism in America's democracy.  Seale thought that integration was not possible because the higher power can exploit the minorities so then the higher power can keep its control. The higher power ultimately has the most control and why would they allow integration when segregation is more useful to them. I think that the two view points are compatible you can think that racism is totally wrong but know that they are this way for a reason and that its going to be this way for a while. He felt that as long as there was a higher power that things would be segregated.
